High Alert Recovery Foundation, LLC

High Alert Recovery Foundation is the newest member of the High Alert International family of companies.  As emergency and disaster professionals, everyone in our corporation understands that the hardest part of a disaster is frequently not the disaster itself but recovering from the economic and emotional devastation that follows.  This subsidiary was born of that knowledge and, for some of us, that person experience.

As a not-for-profit corporation, High Alert Recovery Foundation’s mission is to assist those living with and recovering from breast cancer to remain a vital part of the workforce.  This subsidiary is the embodiment of practicing what we preach – business continuity through human continuity.  Employment by High Alert Recovery Foundation provides an opportunity to work from home, earn a fair wage, and maintain a current job reference. Through a creative job sharing program, the staff of High Alert Recovery Foundation work as many hours as they are capable in a week in balance with their needs for rest and treatment.

However, High Alert Recovery Foundation also recognizes that the breast cancer survivor may require two or even three hours to complete what on another day will take only one hour that work would still built the client for one hour the goal of High Alert Recovery Foundation is to still pay the breast cancer survivor for the three hours of effort deriving the additional two hours of pay from charitable contributions and grant support through its tax put on it’s tax free statues but the third tax exempt 501(c)3 status. In this way the breast cancer survivor is able to earn a living wage providing their best effort while maintaining their self esteem and the employer is able to maintain their employee in the most economical way possible.
