Kristin
Henri, MBA
With
a unique and wide-ranging background, Kristin has experience in
engineering, finance and management, allowing her to adapt to any
business environment.
While
in engineering school, Kristin completed an internship program in power
distribution design with the Florida Power Corporation/Progress
Energy. She was then invited to be an engineering co-op
student, which led to a full-time electrical engineering position with
the Walt Disney World utility division, Reedy Creek Energy
Services. While there, Kristin expanded her knowledge of
designing power and control systems, as well as site planning,
infrastructure development and project management.
Just
before completing her MBA, Kristin became an analyst with Walt Disney
World Business Planning & Development, which focused on growing
revenue for Walt Disney World through new strategic business
initiatives. In this position, Kristin translated between the
engineering designers and financial managers on projects from land use
and development to hotel and attraction expansions and improvements.
This
experience led to an operational finance manager role with Walt Disney
World, first for Human Resources and then for Marketing and
Sales. In these roles, Kristin led the management of
P&L’s, five-year plans, annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
She also participated in capital investment planning and strategic
project development.
In
the two years following her work with Walt Disney World, Kristin worked
as a business broker with Transworld Business Brokers. There
she was exposed to the small business world and was able to use her
analysis experience to evaluate business health and value for both
buyers and sellers. While gaining this real world experience
in valuing, marketing and selling businesses, she quickly rose to the
top, becoming a member of the Transworld President’s Club and winning
the Business Brokers of Florida Million Dollar Sales award.
Since
her time with Transworld Business Brokers, her prior leader, the owner
of the company, has hired Kristin on a number of occasions as a
consultant. As well as compiling and analyzing data for
several highly confidential projects, she designed and developed the
sales forecasting and broker goals models currently used in Transworld
company offices throughout Florida. To this day, Kristin
maintains her active Florida Real Estate Associate license with
Transworld and continues to be a member of the Business Brokers of
Florida (BBF), while not actively working in the industry.
Since
January of 2007, Kristin has owned and operated WynFish Business
Solutions, LLC. She started by networking with friends and
business associates and quickly found clients with bookkeeping, records
clean-up, organization and data entry needs. In mid 2007,
Kristin began to bring on consultants to assist with clients as her
business grew quickly and expanded into business operations planning
and assistance, reporting, strategic planning, management consulting,
organization planning and implementation, sales team planning and chief
financial officer (CFO) management. In 2009, Kristin assumed the
position of Finance Section Chief (CFO pro temp) for High Alert and the
C15 Critical family of companies.
Kristin
holds a magna cum laude Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical
Engineering from Florida State University and a Master of Business
Administration with honors from Stetson University. She is
also a recipient of the prestigious Partners in Excellence award from
the Walt Disney World Company and is a member of the West Orange
Chamber of Commerce. Because of Kristin’s skills and background, she
was recently selected as an Advisory Board Member with the Small
Business Center at the University of Central Florida, where she
volunteers as an advisor for qualifying businesses who need assistance
in sustaining and growing net income and cash flow.
